The State of BCE

Sep 7, 2025

As we reflect on the state of our church, we're reminded of the five core purposes that should guide our spiritual journey: worship, discipleship, evangelism and missions, ministry and service, and fellowship. Today, we delved deeper into worship, exploring its true meaning beyond just Sunday services. We're called to worship in spirit and truth, as Jesus taught the Samaritan woman at the well. This means connecting our souls with God. We're also challenged to be living sacrifices, as described in Romans 12:1, dying to ourselves daily for God's glory. How can we grow in our worship? By cultivating more personal worship time, being consistent in our church attendance, prioritizing prayer, and giving generously. These practices help us sustain the joy of our salvation and deepen our relationship with God and each other.
